Overhead Door Technician

We are currently seeking Experienced Commercial Door Technicians.

This applicant must be mechanically inclined and have knowledge of overhead doors / garage doors (sectional, rolling steel and high speeds), dock systems, truck restraints, and fire doors.

What we're looking for

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, repairs and maintenance on overhead doors
• Load and unload vehicles
• Maintain work truck (re-stock truck, keep tools/parts organized and report any issues with the vehicle to management)
• Troubleshoot and provided solutions
• Supervising and teaching apprentices while on site
• Taking the lead role while on service calls and installation jobs
• On call rotation

Requirements: 

• Demonstrated skills & Experience.
• Must proficiently read, write, and speak English.
• Class G drivers license with good abstract.
• Certificates – Working at Heights, Aerial Platform, Forklift, Welding, First Aid, WHMIS are assets.
• Must be able to pass a background check to meet our clients’ security and workplace regulations.
